Graphics One (GO) Opens Latin
American Technical
Support Center in Santiago, Chile
Burbank, California- March 2003- Graphics One,
LLC, an international distributor dedicated to providing
innovative, high quality products to digital imaging
professionals, is pleased to announce the recent opening
of its LatinAmerican Technical Support Center in
Santiago, Chile. “During 2002 we made a strategic
decision to open an office in Latin America due to the
substantial increase in distributor sales in the region.
“It made much more sense to open the office in the
region rather than to add to our headquarters staff in
Burbank, California,” stated DanBarefoot, President
Graphics One.
Headed by industry veteran, Juan Jose Cousino, the GO
Technical Support Center will be used for technical
training for the staff of GO’s distribution partners,
product development and product testing. “With Mr.
Cousino’s experience in operating and managing a major
grand format service bureau in Chile, along with over
ten years of working on the technical staff of Scitex,
we felt that Juan Jose would be a good fit for the GO
team. As the Latin American distributor for large format
imaging products from major manufactorers such as Mutoh,
Wasatch, Daige and GO’s own line of products, Juan’s
understanding of the market and technical support
requirements will be greatly beneficial to our
distribution channel,” according to Dan Barefoot.
The office became functional in late 2002 and is
responsible for supporting GO distribution products from
Mexico to Brazil and all countries in between. With over
25 distribution partners in Latin America, Graphics
One’s partners are the leading suppliers of large format
imaging products in each country.
