The First 42-inch “Green” Printer that Uses SEPIAX Ink
Graphics One Launches RJ900 iO Printer

Burbank, California-April, 2010. Graphics One, LLC (GO), an international distributor dedicated to providing innovative, high quality digital imaging products is launching the first printer that ships standard with the revolutionary SEPIAX Ink. Offering the ability to print on virtually any substrate, GO’s new RJ900 iO 42-inch green printer was developed specifically for use with SEPIAX ink. GO’s RJ900 iO utilizes an integrated heating technology that maintains a temperature of between 45-55° C while printing in order to allow the SEPIAX ink to adhere to virtually any coated or uncoated substrate. With a maximum printing width of 42 inches, maximum resolution of 2880 dpi, and high printing speed of over 100 ft²/hr in top quality mode, GO’s RJ900 iO is perfect for corporate shops, sign shops and other shops needing to print on unique substrates. Included is the I2 “wave” printing technology that virtually eliminates print banding, the latest generation piezo variable drop inkjet printhead (4 colors, 360 nozzles) for beautiful imaging, an integrated media handling take-up system for unattended, continuous printing, and prints dry off the printer.

Coming standard with the RJ900 iO, SEPIAX ink is a water based resin ink that is environmentally friendly, safe and unlike many inks, does not emit any odors or fumes. SEPIAX ink produces images with the flexibility, strength and durability of resin as it is bonded at the molecular level of the substrate thus offering the scratch resistance of solvent inks. In addition to its brilliancy, and strength, SEPIAX ink offers both indoor and outdoor capabilities without the need to coat the image.

GO’s RJ900 iO printer comes with integrated pre-heaters and media handling system, and has as an optional Wasatch SoftRIP for RJ900 iO. At $9,995, the RJ900 iO establishes a new price point for environmentally friendly indoor and outdoor printing. The RJ900 iO will ship May 1, 2010 and will be available through GO’s distribution channel.
