Opportunity
With the introduction of the GO Salsa TX and GO RIO TX direct-to-fabric printers, Graphics One has since been researching innovative ink technologies to better enable direct printing on a variety of fabrics without any coating, and which could be easily heat set without negative environmental impact. These prerequisites have been far surpassed with the launch of GO FabInkTX, an "All Fabric Ink."
Applications
GO FabInkTX is an “All Fabric” ink optimized for wide range of fabrics such as Cotton, Acrylics, Silk, Blends, Polyester, Rayon, Linens and Other Woven and Unwoven Fabrics for direct-to-fabric printing. GO’s FabInkTX features an advance NanoColor with SuperBinder technology, this means No Fabric Pretreatment or Coating is needed. Applications includes interior decorations, retail signage, POP displays, trade show graphics, banners, flags, sportswear, apparel, casino tables, automotive seat covers, awnings, and many other applications.
GO FabInkTX All Fabric Inks for Direct-to-Fabric Printers
GO FabInkTX, employs some of the same technology used in our award winning GO Xtreme Dye Sub Inks. These two pioneering technologies are NanoColor and SuperBinder-methods Graphics One has worked jointly with the world's leading textile ink manufacturer to create for imaging bright, vivid colors on a wide range of uncoated fabrics. NanoColor technology indicates that pigments are manufactured on a nano-scale level virtually eliminating the printhead clogging of printers left unused for one week or more. The innovative SuperBinder capability binds pigments to fabrics at the particle level which, when compared to other fabric inks, equates to denser color and an unparalleled light fastness. Utilizing NanoColor pigment technology in addition to SuperBinder technology establishes GO FabInkTX, in a class of its own.
GO FabInkTX Light Fastness
Using the same pigments found in the world's largest automobile paint and the world's leading textile ink manufacturers, GO FabInkTX uses the same pigments to enhance outstanding light fastness. GO FabInkTX can be expected to offer two to four times longer light fastness than dye sub or dispersed dye inks.
GO FabInkTX--Environmentally Friendly
Fabric inks traditionally go through a washing and steaming process after being applied to fabric and before being used. GO FabInkTX is different--it is fixed using a standard heat fixation unit and cured between 325~350 F. There are no wasted chemicals, no wasted pre-coatings, no wasted post-coatings, no pigment wash-off and no wasted water. GO FabInkTX not only meets the toughest of European standards including Oeko-Tex, but is also APEO-free. GO FabInkTX is about as environmentally friendly as a digital textile ink gets!
Totally Integrated System
GO FabInkTX is a fantastic complement to both the 42-inch GO RIO TX and GO Salsa TX integrated systems. Since GO FabInkTX actually binds to the fabric and is then cured in an inline fixation unit, nothing else is needed to process the fabric of choice. Once the fabric is cured, it is ready and waiting to be used in a multitude of fashions-indoors or outdoors!
